Recipe Calculator is a software to calculate Nutrient values & Pyramid Food Group values for the Recipe / Multi ingredient Food.

Nutrient values are arrived as per the ingredient list and their quantity.

Multi ingredient foods contain ingredients from more than one Pyramid Food Group. To compute the amount of each Pyramid Food Group present in the multi ingredient food, it is necessary to disaggregate the food into its main ingredients which are then assigned to their respective Pyramid Food Group.

The Recipe Calculator is used to arrive at Pyramid Food Group weights contained in 100g of the recipe. The Nutrient value and Pyramid Food Group values for 100 gm of the recipe can be saved in the database.
